Think about the last denim jacket you bought. It came pre-washed, pre-faded and pre-distressed - somebody in a factory decided where your wear marks would go before you'd worn it once. Five hundred wears later it looks exactly the same as the day you got it, because there was nothing left for you to add.
Raw denim is the opposite. It arrives unwashed and untouched, deep indigo and stiff, and then it changes according to how you actually live. The fades come at your elbows because that's where you bend. Lighter at the cuffs because that's where you push your sleeves back. A wear line at the chest pocket because that's where your phone sits. Nobody else's will look like yours.
Then we bonded a full sherpa lining to the inside of it, so it's a jacket you'll actually wear through winter rather than one that comes out for three mild weeks in autumn.
The Ultimate Trucker Jacket That's Built To Beat The Cold.

Three decisions make this jacket what it is. The denim is raw - we don't wash or distress it, so it reaches you exactly as it was woven and dyed, ready to take its character from you instead of a factory. The sherpa is laminated to the shell rather than sewn in as a separate layer, which is more work to make and the reason there's no loose lining to shift or bunch. And the hardware is antique brass shank buttons rather than cheap rivets, because the trims are usually the first thing to fail on a denim jacket.

Most outerwear is at its best on the day you buy it and declines from there. Raw denim works the other way round. Wear it on the yard, in the truck, at the pub, on the walk - and every hour of that ends up in the fabric. Add the sherpa and it's warm enough to be the jacket you actually reach for from October through to March.

Raw denim is denim that hasn't been washed, faded or distressed after it was dyed and woven. Most jeans and jackets arrive pre-softened and pre-faded, with the wear marks decided in a factory. Raw denim arrives in its original state - deep indigo and stiff - and then fades naturally based on how you wear it, at your elbows, cuffs and pockets.
