Our Commitment

BÆRSkin Tactical Supply Co. is committed to making baerskintactical.com usable by as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of how we build our digital experience, not as an afterthought.

This Statement explains the standard we work towards, where we currently stand, how to report problems, and how to get help.

Conformance Target

We work towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

WCAG 2.2 AA satisfies the standards expected by:

• The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III in the United States
• The European Accessibility Act (effective 28 June 2025) and EN 301 549 in the European Union
• The UK Equality Act 2010 (de facto judicial standard)
• The Accessible Canada Act and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
• The Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992
• The New Zealand Human Rights Act 1993

A single WCAG 2.2 AA target satisfies all of the above.

Current Status

We are actively improving the accessibility of our Site under a structured remediation program. The work is ongoing; some pages and features may not yet fully meet our target standard. We track outstanding items, prioritise them based on user impact, and ship improvements continuously.

Areas under active improvement include:

• Keyboard navigation paths and focus management
• Form labelling and error messaging
• Alt text on product imagery
• Color contrast on certain promotional surfaces
• Compatibility with assistive technologies on the checkout flow

This list is not exhaustive and is updated as our remediation progresses.

Compatibility

The Site is designed to work with current versions of:

• Screen readers: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android)
• Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — current and previous major version
• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android — current and previous major version

We test against this combination as part of our development process. Older browsers and assistive technologies may produce inconsistent results; we recommend keeping them updated.

Known Limitations

Despite our ongoing work, the following limitations may currently affect the experience:

• Third-party content. Some content on the Site is supplied by third parties (for example, embedded reviews, video players, or chat widgets). We choose third parties whose accessibility we have evaluated, but we do not control their underlying code and they may not always meet our target standard.
• Legacy media. A small number of older product photographs may have generic alt text rather than specifically descriptive alt text. We are reviewing these as part of our content program.
• PDF documents. Some documents linked from the Site may not yet be fully accessible. If you need an accessible version of any specific document, contact us using the details below and we will provide one.

How to Report a Problem

If you encounter an accessibility problem on the Site, or you need help accessing content, contact us. We will work with you to resolve the issue and to provide the information or service you need in an alternative format if appropriate.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to resolve issues, or provide a clear plan and timeline for resolution, as quickly as we reasonably can.

If you need information from the Site in a different format (for example, large print, a structured email rather than a PDF, or content read aloud over the phone), contact us using the details above and we will provide a reasonable alternative.
