The hoodie is weather-resistant, not waterproof. When rain or sleet sets in, zip the Heavy-Storm Rain Jacket onto your BÆRSkin Hoodie 5.0 and the fleece becomes your lining. You can also wear the shell alone, or the fleece alone. That's three work layers in one.
At 20,000mm hydrostatic head, the Heavy-Storm Rain Jacket handles heavy, sustained rain and snow on wet, windy sites while staying breathable. Under its PFAS-free, SGS-tested BÆR-Tex durable water-repellent (DWR) coating is 100% Polyester Ripstop that resists tears. When the sky clears, it packs into its own pocket at 350 grams and 3 x 4.2 inches, small enough to drop into a hoodie pocket.

It is the internal zip pocket on the left-hand waist of your BÆRSkin Hoodie 5.0, just above the hem, and the entire pocket panel is lined with metalized RFID-blocking material. Contactless bank cards, ID cards, hotel keycards and e-passports all communicate by radio. Inside the BÆR-VAULT that signal is blocked, so nothing can be read until you take it out.
