The deep-pile sherpa creates thousands of air pockets, each one a tiny insulation chamber. The pile depth means more trapped air than any flat or short-pile fleece can achieve. Rib storm cuffs seal at the wrists without adjustments needed - crucial when wearing thick gloves.
Extreme Weather Reality:
The extended storm flap runs the entire zipper length - a full barrier against wind infiltration. Five internal pockets keep gear warm and accessible. Two arm pockets with patches for customization or identification.
