“Packs down to nothing, then shrugs off a full-blown storm. I'm never caught out again.”
- Ryan D., GLOBAL
You know the drill. The clouds open, you dig out the crinkly emergency poncho, and thirty seconds later it's torn at the seams, flapping in the wind, and doing nothing. So you give up and get soaked.
The BÆRSkin Heavy-Storm Poncho is built for real weather. A 2.5-layer ripstop shell rated to 20,000mm - double most rain jackets - with fully bonded seams, waterproof zips, and a storm flap over the zip. It packs down to nothing and shrugs off a cloudburst.
Unisex design means it's perfectly fitted for both men and women!
The Secret Waterproof Weapon That Lives in Your Pack Until You Need It.
A 2.5-layer ripstop shell with our BÆR-Tex DWR coating, rated to 20,000mm. It beads off moderate to heavy rain and keeps beading, storm after storm.
The whole poncho packs down into its stash pocket and disappears into your bag. Out and over your head in seconds when the sky turns.
A longer cut covers your torso and your pack, while the shaped hood brim keeps rain off your face - even in sideways wind.
A 1/4-zip pullover cut with an internal bungee wrist cord holds it steady on the bike or the trail. No flapping, no fuss, full range of motion.
The build is simple and serious. A 100% polyester ripstop shell takes the abuse, a 2.5-layer construction with BÆR-Tex DWR sends water rolling off, and every seam is bonded shut - so at 100gsm you get storm-grade protection with almost no weight.
Keep it in your pack, your pannier, or your glovebox and forget it's there - until the sky opens. Then it's over your head and you're dry in seconds, while everyone else is running for cover. The weather does its thing. You keep going.
It's built from 100% polyester ripstop fabric in a 2.5-layer construction, finished with our BÆR-Tex DWR coating. That makes it lightweight, tear-resistant, and rated to 20,000mm waterproof.
